lol, pac is the greatest. raided is the 2nd greatest. that's the way i see it. i think raided lived up to taking pac's throne at least in delivering good albums the way he does... too bad he couldn't have more direct influence and control over the production of beats, etc... and also i'd say he would be the greatest if he had gotten on more deeper subjects relevant to the youth's problems, like the penitentiary system & how crooked it is, and trying to make it change or really build an alert on the conditions. he did a bit but very little with that.

raided is shittin on pac lyrically homie...pac can't FUC with raided....it's just that pac started a movement....he's felt in the soul...i feel raided like that 2...but the majority of people don't feel that shit...I empathize with the man...pac was hard...but Raided is harder.....

very tru. pac started a movement and had the charm to get people with him to feel him. x just is harder lyrically and with his styles. pac cant hold a stick to x's lyrics, but dont get me wrong, pac is one of the pioneers of this game

yeah. i totally agree man. pac aint got SHIT on raided. if all this shit wit tha murder wit raided didn't happen, i guarantee EVERYONE would know who x-muthafuckinraided is. pac isn't even that great of mc..sad to say it, but its tha truth. he just had a bigger impact on people. to me, thats what sold his cd's. suge knight to me, made tupac into a superstar. before that, he was just a star. ya shmell me?

there is no greatest, but x is definitely up there. pac is too, but if you consider a few ppl, you cant just ignore the rest. names like rakim, LL, and big daddy kane.

Don't get me wrong, i'm not saying Pac is better lyrically. it was about the greatest rapper of all time. So that is more of a general question. It would be unfair to focus just on one thing like lyrics. So I still firmly stand by my point, Pac overall is a greater rapper than X-raided based on the simple fact that Pac did more with the music. With all due respect to Raided (who I might add is my favorite rapper after Pac) what Pac was doing with the message in the music is way more difficult to do than what Raided is doing. Raided is more free. He can say anything which allowed him to have a wider array of lyrics. Raided could do songs like "Never Loved", "Macaframa", anything he wants and it's funny, no one is taking it seriously, but if Pac did it you know it would turn into something else.
