I know that SOme of us may have lost interest in the man's recent music, will always be fans of the classic albums, and are interested in his story and struggle at least.

From what I heard he was supposed to be getting out of prison sometime in April, but it did not happen. Not sure on the specifics. It would be nice to see some new music though.
