Greetings everybody.

Basically you can call me the whistleblower on this organization (if you can call it that?). I received a call yesterday from the producer of the nationally syndicated Michael Medved radio talk show (based in Seattle) and they invited me to appear today (April 13th) from 1-2pm on the show. I was asked to go head to head with the guy who started this Citizens Against Rap organization and is also the author of a book called "The Architects of Rap: Poison in Our Culture." Apparently he's been out promoting his new book that basically blames all of society's problems on Hip-Hop/Rap music from city to city. www.citizensagainstrap.org is dudes website.

I have invited Gene Dexter to join in on what I'm sure will be a very lively discussion about the evil, wicked rap music that's polluting the minds of the youth today and is responsible for damn near every social ill imaginable...particularly in the African American community. Gene, Skuntdunanna and myself will be on the air with this clown for an hour and I would invite all of you to listen in and or call in. I'm not positive...but I'm pretty sure it's KNWX AM 770 (that's the Seattle station...but it's on the air in 140 cities). That was the info I got from the www.michaelmedved.com website...where you can apparently listen live online as well.

Fuck I wanna hear this but I'll be in school! If someone can stream it and record it for me that would be dope...or if you could somehow get a copy of the broadcast D I would much appreciate it! I hate narrow minded people like the ones you will face today! Good luck with the show!

800-955-1776 to call-in.....

This oughta be good for a few laughs. That Citizens site had some good points, too. Not so much on the indie side, but the major side. Look how much promotion a Talib Qweli or a Mos Def gets versus a 50 Cent or a Ja Rule...its not even close. You'd think with the heavy hand Viacom, Time Warner & Disney have, they could do more to even it out.....but they don't.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. D-sane and Skunt werent even on the show. And in my opinion Gene Dexter didnt make any good points and got ate up by those guys. That idiot that wrote the book made me wanna drive down there and slap him upside his head. Im going to ASSUME that he is some square beer from the subarbs that aint never seen a hard day in his life. So he has NO idea what its like to live the life of a rapper.........

Plus the host of the show said in the opening " I didnt want to ask them to turn it down cause I didnt want to die" so he assumed that cause they where young hip hop fans that they where killers?

god damn the ignorance of people.......I FUCKIN HATE IT

Man that show fuckin sucked...................

It ended up being just me and Gene Dexter.....but they said only one of us could go on the show because they didn't want to seem like they were double teaming dude. So I went ahead and gave Gene Dexter the platform. I thought it was gonna be alot more hectic and get into some tough issues......but they really just scraped the surface of it. Oh well.....maybe next time.

But let's all be sure to let Les Taha know what we think of his organization.

For real....I couldn't believe that dude said that shit either. But it just goes to show you how these people think. And then they're just supporting the already twisted stereotypes that middle-aged suburban white Americans (their radio demographic) already think about cats like us. What a joke.

Is Gene Dexter a bigwig type of music promoter, or what? I guess I just kind of wanted to know a little background about why you were asked to do the show and how they knew about you, and why you asked Gene to do it also.
