WWE.com announced that they have released Trevor Murdoch today. Murdoch had held the WWE Tag Team Championship on three occasions.
Murdoch had just been drafted to Smackdown! last week as part of the WWE Draft. He had been wrestling as a member of the WWE roster since 2005. (Thanks to Mark S.)
After being drafted away from his tag team partner on Smackdown, the Wrestling Observer is reporting that Clifford Compton, aka Domino, may not last long in WWE. With the release of Trevor Murdoch earlier today, it seems more likely than not that WWE might be doing away with who they feel is the weaker of 2 tag team partners.
Along with several other superstars including Tommy Dreamer, WWE's Natalya has posted a blog on her Fan Nation account. She writes, "I, personally, care a lot about what the fans think. That is one of the reasons why I want to interact with them as much as I can, especially through WWE Fan Nation. My whole family believed that wrestling was more than just a sport. It is an art form to us, and the ring is our canvas in which we paint our masterpieces. The fans, the people who believe in us, help contribute to our priceless paintings in the ring and out. In many ways, this drives me to be the very best...or should I say, 'The Elegance of Execution!'" You can read the entire blog at :

According to The Wrestling Observer, it appears that Mr. Kennedy will not be getting any more of a push on Smackdown now that he has been drafted. He is expected to remain lingering in the same spot he was in on Raw. No reason has been given as to why WWE is making this decision, but if it has nothing to do with behavior than I can't understand why they would misuse such a talent.
Mickie James did an interview in the latest edition of WWE Magazine. When asked about kissing Beth Phoenix as she did Trish Stratus, Mickie replied by saying "I thought about it. In fact, it seemed to me like Beth was the one playing games. Playing mindgames with her could've been dangerous because she's so mentally tough. And, while she's definitely beautiful, she's just not my type. I don't know if I'd want to give her a long kiss goodnight." She's also asked about her in ring outfits and she says "I love my denim outfit because it's so comfortable, and I feel cool wearing. I loved the blue and orange one with rhinestones and flowers on the bottom. The pants were a little too big for me and they kept slipping. That's the worst feeling when you're in a match and you know there's nothing you can do about a wardrobe malfunction." You can read the entire interview in the magazine which is out now.
