Dave Meltzer reports that The Rock has agreed to work a match at WrestleMania 24, only if WWE can provide him a high profile match and put him over. Shawn Michaels' return is being rushed for this purpose. It's believed he will turn heel in order to feud with Rock in what The Rock wants to be his sendoff from wrestling. The possibility of Michaels walking into WrestleMania as WWE Champion has also been mentioned, though nothing concrete has come of it. WrestleMania 24 will take place in The Rock's home state of Florida.

you cant top the night he met hogan!....theres just no way...that was like the hogan vs. andre the giant match all over again!.....impossible being it was hogan,..but yea rock should keep wrestling till hes old like flair!..especially if hes making movies like his new bust thats out!....2 football movies?..wow wut a movie career!...give it up rock and get back in the squared circle!

wow rock wanna fight one mroe match its stupid if you ask me he just needs to either come back ot stay out of the WWE simple let new guys come in and work matchs instead of beating dead horses as WWE is going with all the same fights and shit unbrand the shit raw and smackdown should all be like the old times

ionno, to me that woulda looked ridiculous if hogan's old ass had beat the rock lol...

this could be a great match...last time i saw shawn michaels match he wasn't doin it like he used to tho.

& rocky, he was my fav wrestler back in his NOD days when most people hated him... "rocky sucks" "die rocky die" lmao
