In recent weeks, there have been a lot of rumors regarding former WWF champion The Ultimate Warrior going into the WWE Hall of Fame.
While nothing have been 100% confirmed, it's interesting to note that this week, attorneys for WWE and Warrior issued a joint motion asking Judge Roslyn O. Silver to dismiss with prejudice with the stipulation that both sides would be covering their own legal fees. The lawsuit was already set to be dismissed on 11/27.
This is an interesting development because Judge Silver ruled on 9/22 that The Ultimate Warrior will have to cover World Wrestling Entertainment's attorney costs and expenses in defending themselves against the breach of contract lawsuit he brought against them to the tune of $18,967.46.
Given how WWE is backing off on those fees, it's not hard to theorize that the two sides may have reached a detente and perhaps there's something to the Warrior rumors after all. Stay tuned.
