WTF is the deal with illegal business

I looked it up on one of the music-related sites (can't remember which one--either Amazon.Com or Barnes&Noble.com--or maybe it was FYE), and one site gave July 27. I don't think it's going to be forgotten about--the last two times I ordered CDs from Frisco Street Show, they sent me promo fliers for ILLEGAL GAME, so it's obviously coming out sometime soon. You know how it is w/ indie rap releases...
JT did leave a post saying that he had received a beat produced by Eminem (?)(c/o Russell Simmons) and that he and Mall MIGHT squeeze in another song using that beat. If that's true, then it could be a reason for the delay--you'd have to go through legalities of clearing the beat, working out finances and other things, to avoid lawsuits and shit. We'll just have to wait for a word from JT, Frisco Street Shoe, or someone else involved...

I know that J.T. is releasing the Black Wall Street Comp first which is J.T. Mac Mall and Ray Luv. That album is scheduled for august 15, and am pretty sure that Illegal business will be after that. I work in the same building with J.T. and happen to be dealing with sales, so you can consider my info legit.
well thats some shit aint it. This fuckin guy. Jt put out posters that said july 12th was the release date, then got on here and posted that the release date would not be pushed back. Now this shit is gonna be lost for months. He even got a song with mac mall on some radio stations. Thats no good. some bullshit. I was lookin forward to this shit.

Sure. I don't like the delays anymore than anyone else here does, but hey--welcome to the world of Underground Cali Rap, where EVERYTHING gets pushed back! LOL! Hell, I'm also still waiting for Yukmouth's UGA 2, more Done Deal stuff, Playa Jay Tee's solo, Guce's future solos and other things including JT's stuff. Hopefully, ILLEGAL GAME and the Black Wall Street comp can come out while the buzz that "Peace Treaty" created is still going...that's a dope single.
