I can understand if you was from maybe like north dakota or iowa askin about hyphy but your location says frisco, you already kno what time it is, its just a way to showcase the bay area youth culture and the new sounds coming out of your region, for people who live in the bay area already know what time it is and it isnt really new, however to push it to a national aduience you need some kinda sound in which people can get into, as for dreds, big stunna shades, thizzles, and all that most people can't relate and thus reject it or wont even give it a chance, whats a shame is that the real bay area shit is beyond hyphy trying to be commical or a joke, and its really treal out in northern california, for the niggas who live here like i said already know what time it is.

Hyphy is just a word thats it, dont take it too serious, its only music and music is entertaiment, keep your mind focus on the bigger picture makin money and findin ways to live in this high priced location in which we live in known as the bay area.

Hyphy is more or less just a marketable unit for radio play and music videos, its a movement in that of a gateway to bay area music, people get drawn in by the heavy base and beats, and then they are exposed to the actual lyrical talent the bay has to offer, what you have to be careful of is not to stick to hyphy too long, because its going to get old, at least in a mainstream point of view, and one of the worst things the bay area can get right now is a stagnant image, its about time for Big Rich, Quinn, etc to blow so everyone can be drawn further in to our type of music, for commercial success anyway.
