WRT54GS ROUTER PROBLEMS.

Im having problems setting it up. It told me to disconnect the Internet cord from my computer and connect it to my router so I did. Then it said to get the blue internet cord that came with the router and connect that to the computer and a port in my router so I did that.

My power light is lit my WLAN light is lit and my port number one light is lit. But it says it cannot detect the internet.

On my AT&T modem all are lit except for the Wireless ticker. Do I have to pay extra to AT&T for wireless or somthing?

Does anyone have any idea of what I did wrong?

I have that model too. I have my blue in port1 and PC. Ethernet from cable modem to ethernet port to the left of Port. 1

Thats how I have it too. Do you have AT&T?

use the installation cd its step by step directions with pictures of what to do. if it didnt come with the cd or linksys easy link connector download the program at www.linksys.com/easy and download the program and run it.

Its cool. I just found out that my fucking modem is wireless so I didnt even need the router so im taking it back and im gonna pre-order GTA 4 or somthing.
