The young homie passed because he had no idea he was diabetic. Went home feeling nauseated, went into diabetic shock, and passed.
The Writerz Blok over on Euclid and Market had a fundraiser event in his memory. It was truly a great event.
All proceeds went to his immediate family. His BM and two children. To me, he was more of an aqcuaintance, but still very sad to know somebody so young passed.
Every artist painting up in there was doing a Paris peace, they had a gang of MC's rocking the mic in his memory. B-boys doing their thang on the floor.
It was my honor to show up and contribute. I wish more funerals would culminate in events of this nature. His fam was there, his friends were there, and those who just knew him for a lil bit.
Of the MC's rocking were SD og's LPSD and Orko.
