YAKIMA, Wash. -- A kindergarten child whose parents say he was sent home with a bag of feces tucked in his backpack will finish the school year at a different school.

West Valley School District Superintendent Peter Ansingh says district officials investigated the April 17 incident involving a longtime teacher and have taken "appropriate action."

He declined to elaborate but says the teacher still has a job.

The superintendent says the district does not condone what happened.

The boy's father said Thursday his son will be working with a different teacher at another school in the same school district.

The Yakima Herald-Republic reports the father was encouraged by district officials' response.

The father says his son arrived home with the plastic bag of feces and a sticky note that read "This little turd was found on the floor in my room."

The teacher has not returned calls seeking comment.

The father says his son spends part of the school day in a special needs class and part in kindergarten.

no offense but almost every preson i know from cali that spent any time out in washington always come back all screwed up.

My friend Matt lived in washington for a couple months after he got out of the joint and now hes a full blown herion addict and no one even associates w him anymore.

my friend got married and his woman invited this chick she knew from highschool who was living out in washington, she came with this dusty ass burnout boyfriend of hers and they looked like bums. I think they hitchhiked to the bay and I'm pretty sure they camped out on my homies front lawn. we all got a laugh out of this fool, he could hardly talk and he was doing hella weird stuff

I know some washington cats on here that are hella cool though, i dunno where these people fell short. It was most likley hard drugs and the hippy grunge mentality that alot of people have up there

Since I've been in the military everyone I've met that is from Washington desperately wants to go back. I'm lucky cause I got that chance. :cool:

I always wanted to check out the northwest despite the hippies and wierdos, I gotta homie living in oregon near grants pass. He says theres no jobs and its hella boring lol

Grants pass is nice to visit, but not to live (IMO). I'd rather live up in Northern Oregon.

I grew up in the NW and I love it there. Even the rain. I live in SF now and I gotta say, it it werent so pricey, I'd consider living here for a longer time.

For me, its activies that SF offers that Seattle dont have or not as much. There is always something to do in SF and the weather permits it.

But like any other place, we got weirdos too.

Yakima is hella different that the NW. Its more desert out there and its like a mini mexico (no offense to anyone). I got alot of homies over there, tri cities, omak and spokane too.

you gotta come to North or Southeast Portland and see how we do it! holler at me if you ever come through. and fuck grants pass and all that ol country bullshit. Im in the city and loving it. Portland got hella cool shit to do if you aint broke and down to spend$$$.....

man for real though I got potnas in Sunnyside, Yakima, Tri Cities and them shits is like desert towns in valleys. I love it in the summertime though!! I take the train up to tri-cities and get swooped up get it poppin! and no I dont drive there I like the train scenery.....

Grants Pass is cool if u like rafting. 1 of the dopest spots in oregon isnt to far from GP. The Illinois river, in the summer thats the spot. The water is so clear u can see the bottom of the river, hella spots to jump and swim.

shit the clackamas town center mall and washington square mall GOT BIIIIIITCHES!!!!! not no broke hoes either. and By the mall they got hella bomb food spots. shit holler at LISICKI he be working atthe Boom Boom ROOM and I hear that shit jumps off something real nice. shit plus we got fire weed, hella cool spots downtown (clubs, saks 5th, louis store) man and just pretty much all kinds of shit to do....

Hell yeah! There is plenty to do in Portland, especially coming up soon. The clubs, bars, butt nakedness and the Waterfront are all poppin' in the Spring/Summer. Cinco De Mayo and Rose Festival time it get's live! Lisicki does spin the cuts at "The Boom Boom Room" on Sat. and Sun. nights and then all day at the "Blush Club"...
