hearing clear vocals on the two past albums PLUS new tracks i'm hearing it the way it was supposed to be heard. the bonus tracks are worth it alone but i'd recommend this cd combo to anyone who wasn't feel'n bloc bizniz. it's pricey though i got it on i-tunes for 22 dollars shoulda been way cheaper. i'm happy with it though i'm listening to it everyday.

I was disappointed with the first one due to the poor vocal sound quality. Also, the beats were pretty poor to me, so the collector's edition needs to be stepped up dramatically for me to buy it. the first one was too rushed. X even sounded off-beat several times and they should have given some more time to make it perfect the first time. We all know what his vocals can sound like over the phone and there's no need to use 95ish telephone vocals in 2009/2010

I still gotta swoops this, juiced ta have it all as one collection, my 1 complaint would be losing a dope beat in exchange for somethin else, in that case you should have used the original and added the remix as a bonus, jus IMHO Filthy, by the way I digg alot of your production, keep up the good work, take your time bro, I know X likes strict deadlines but you gotta explain to him quality over quantity. Good Look for all your hard work, folks like me really appreciate it.

Yeah....The beat for Legend Of Ice Cold SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN CHANGED!!!!!! It ruined the song now. I can't stand the new version.

First of all, Unforgiven 2 wasn't recorded over the phone - just so you know. Second, when we made that album, we didn't know when, if ever, X would be able to record clear vocals. It wasn't even an option at the time so we did what we could. X actually recorded 3 albums with the same quality as Unforgiven 2 and the others will never see the light of day.

It's funny to me that you can complain about vocal quality when the rapper is in prison. PRISON. If you want to complain about the music then say what you gotta say. But X lives in a concrete box and that's on a good day when he's not in trouble. He has hardly any priveleges and often has a target on his back. To get an album from him at all is a miracle. If the vocals were so bad then why did you even buy it? We had snippets up for everyone to hear before it dropped.
First of all I really appreciate your work with X and I've been a longtime fan of X since back in the 90s. I feel his vocals on let's say Unforgiven vol 1 has a much better quality than what is on vol 2. And I have to say it, 2009/2010 beats in general don't grab me like the 90s beats. Yes call me old fashioned or whatever, but "modern" beats in general lack the funk.

Snippets don't give you the time to let an album grow on you so I don't care much about what I hear on snippets. The best albums become better after you've given them multiple spins. I have always supported and intend to continue to support x by buying his albums no matter what his vocal sounds like and with that in mind I feel that I have the right to state my opinion about what I like and don't like about them.

I am going to get that 2.5 version for sure since the vocal quality is improved a lot. The beats also sounded crispier and better mastered too, so this sounds like a dope buy.

The process of trying to clean up the analog vocals on the original U2 was gruelling and was probably a nightmare for Filthy Rich the whole time. With the tape, the vocals would slow down or speed up on it's own, no matter what bpm's X actually recorded it at, so Rich had to try to manually fix all that, along with everything else. It was a blessing to get the digital vocals and get them out as U2.5 and if we knew we'd have them we never would have even released U2. So thank you to everyone who purchased U2.5, also... that's solid support and much appreciated. I regret that we didn't use the original and the new beat for Ice Cold, but what's done is done. Maybe once we get a break from working on the new solo album we can have Rich throw the original beat on the digital version and get it on digital download. I'd love to see that happen, so we'll let you know...

But as far as Rich sounding upset, honestly I'm surprised Rich doesn't beat his head into the wall anytime someone even MENTIONS the Unforgiven 2 original analog album! LOL! 1luv, B.Parker

^^Good Stuff B. I agree with you 100% "Legend Of Ice Cold" needs the Original beat with the new digital vocals. I am still holding on to a "Witta Mask On" version with New Digital Vocals and the Original beat. I think that song would be tight with new digital vocals.

I copped this 2.5 the other day, had ta have The Labrynth and all them in HQ audio. Some of them were delivered better, some not as good but was interesting to hear the differences. I felt it was worth the 15 bucks fashow, would be nice to get Ice Cold Fixed, that's a great Idea. One thing the disk lables could have been fixed to, alot of it got chopped off, no biggie tho.
