#1 has to be Randy Moss. What a piece of shit he was this year.

#2 could be a tie with Edge James and Shaun Alexander though Alexander did have an excuse as we was hurt.

Name some other assholes who come to mind.

for me, it was definitely edgerrin james and daunte culpepper.

it doesn't help when arizona has a sorry ass offensive line. i cut him for fred taylor.

now with daunte culpepper, i really didn't care anymore, i dropped him along with randy mcmichael, and who do i pick up? drew brees and marques colston.

and what does that result in? i am #1 in my fantasy league.

i was also upset that i lost larry fitzgerald and clinton portis for majority of this year.

clinton portis gets dropped for marion barber...
Yeah I feel you on that! But Clinton Portis's wasn't due to performance on the field since he was nursing injuries during the season.

i would say Lamont Jordan was a total bust indeed.

the first real candidate mentioned this whole thread.

I will give you my take from a fantasy football player for waaaay too many years now.

Edge was not really a disappointment. Did you really think he would go from Indy having Manning and all the wr's with an ok o-line, to Arizona, Warner/rookie qb, and NO O-LINE whatsoever and still throw up the same #'s?

If you did, I could make another pay for league and have y'all join that would be fun.

Lamont was a consensus round #1 pick in a most every league with 10 or more players. He was projected to have a way better season then previous which would have been a way better season than Edge...where are they now? Edge about where he should be and Jordan shitty.

Moss, I will give you that he is not doing grwat, but to call him the biggest bust goes against all knowledge of the game of fantasy football. You have the Raiders team on the decline, with a new qb in a new system with a new coach, that was going to run run run with Lamont, Moss was doomed from the get go. I was not in very many leagues where Moss was drafted before the 3rd or 4th round.

You want a wr bust...see 1 Steve Smith. Yes he is having an average year but in most leagues he was the #1 wr drafted and was supposed to be by far and away the best wr when in fact he is barly average in a league of great wr's. Now this is not his fault, but he was a first to early 2nd round pick with being the #1 wr on most boards, and he sucks this year....#1wr bust!

Another bust but not in terms of the biggest bust is Jake Delhomme,,,see above!

Also Carson Palmer started out as the niggest bust of the season but has had a few decent games to shake it off, but lastnight he is going back down the path and could be a candidate again.

Culpepper, this was no surprise to me. Not only was he coming off major injury, he was going to a new team with a run first philosphy with ronnie brown. Then he struggles, brown gets hurt and Joey harrington, younger, faster, HEALTHY,cam ein and prefomred just a little better. So yes he was a bust but not in the frame of Delhomme or even Palmer.

No another player who is not quite a bust but far from expectations...Larry Johnson, and Alexander. Alexander gets a little bit of a pass on the bust label because if injuries, and LJ well...hmmmm, started ok, but where are the td's at?????? If you took him first overall like alot of people did you could be screaming biggest bust, but as you see above there are better votes to go around.

So all in all, there you have my list

Jordan
Delhomme
Steve Smith

how can lamont jordan be a bust when he's never been shit? He didnt do anything last year snd before that he was on backup status.

He was a very viable back-up with good #'s when in. and was now getting a shot at #1. And like I said he was a 1st round pick in most leagues, never less than a 2nd round pick.

Moss, culpepper, edge, were all later than Lamont jordan in every single league I am in....which is waaay too many.

Lamont is ass - a 3rd round pick, 2nd maybe - but you don't know what youre doing taking a chance on him in the first. You make it sound like he was promoted to#1 this year and not last.
