LOL @ having to throw Alex Smith in with the Raider busts..........
THE THREAD IS ABOUT BUSTS IN GENERAL, NOT BUSTS ON YOUR PARTICULAR TEAM. I LISTED A BUNCH OF RAIDER BUSTS BECAUSE WE HAVE A BUNCH. ALEX SMITH IS ARGUABLY THE BIGGEST BUST IN THE LEAGUE OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS SO I HAD TO MENTION HIM.

give him more then a year before you label him anything....most players in the leauge take time to change from the colllege level to the pro level....you cant expect a rookie to come in and round up like 15 sacks or what ever
you can expect him to round up one right? or maybe be useful against the run? no this guy is slow and will not make it. please believe rich mckay is the king of the waste of first round draft picks. dont forget, the years we didnt pick in the first is when he traded the pick for two more awful players.

peerless price and john "made of glass" abraham

Yea I was gonna say Roddy White came on pretty strong the last half of the year.
in his 3rd year, he still had the drops. a first round bust he still is until he can get rid of the drops and perform up to where he was picked. a first round pick isnt supposed to start coming around in the 3rd year. how could he not come around the falcons threw the ball more than twice than they did last year.

Seahawks have hit on pretty much all of their 1st and 2nd round picks the last 5 years.

The two that come to mind off the top of my head who haven't been great are Marcus Tubbs a DT first rounder in '04 (he's good when healthy, just hasn't been healthy) and Chris Spencer a first rounder in '05 who hasn't been all that good at Center this year.

But by and large they've hit, a big reason why they are good.

Alex Smith threw himself in there.

And IMO...Gallery is the biggest bust in the conversation.

At least with Smith, Williamson, etc...there is a slight, tiny, microscopic glimmer of talent.

With Gallery...my jaw still hasn't made it up off the floor from when they drafted him.

I would gladly trade him to the Angels for the rally monkey.
