workout question?

ok, heres my current routine, and im wondering if i should make some changes cuz im not getting the results i want..

monday-- cardio (15-20 min),biceps, triceps
tuesday-cardio
wednesday- cardio,shoulders, back, neck
thursday-cardio
friday-cardio,legs

i usually eat an apple an hour before working out, then either grilled chicken or a protein shake after the workout..i dont seem to be putting the muscle on that i want..i eat good so thats not the problem..also, my workouts are for about 60-90 min..

thanks for any help!

that thing about cancer is far from funny.

try doing cardio after you lift instead of before...you'll be less tired and you'll have more energy to do the lifting properly...work out with rhino...hes HUGE

i dont know exactly the names of the machines or the lifts, cuz i only pay attention to the picture of the body part thats worked, but i do all my bicep curls, bench press, etc 4 sets at 12 reps each..

Just do burpies and shut the fuck up. Start at 10. 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1. Then 9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1. 8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1. And so on. I guarantee results in about 2 weeks.

Machines don't really build muscle as fast as free-weights. I'd get into the free-weight room and also get some steroids.

Make sure you're getting enough protein. You want 1g preferabbly 2g's per each pound you weigh.(if you weigh 200lbs, you want 400g's of protein a day) It's expensive as hell but you need it. Also forget 4 sets of 12 reps. You can do burpies like the mexican said but that's pretty intense. Try doing 4 sets of 10 - 7 - 5 - 3 reps. Adding weight with each set. You also need to hit each muscle group at least twice a week with a min. of 48 hours rest in between.

The best way to get the exact results you want though is to get a personal trainer.

i do 3 sets, 15, 12, 10, going up each set, and then a set of burnouts..30 min of cardio after my workout, but i keep my heart rate in the fat burning zone...if you do too much cardio it starts to burn muscle...and the main goal of cardio after the workout is so the lactic acid doesn't build up and cause soreness and stiffness. streaching helps with that and is a good thing to add to the end of your workout as well

you should be doing all your pulls on a seperate day than your push workouts (bi's and tri's should not be on the same day). that is probably why you're not seeing the results you want...i'm not sure how much you are lifting relative to your boday weight but maybe you should try building muscle indurance first by doing light weights more reps to condition your muscles, before you start hittin heavy...
