3) jesus said "it those who lead you say to you 'see, the kingdom is in the sky' then the birds will precede you. Rather, the kingdom is inside of you, and it is outside of you. when you come to know yourselves, then you will become known, and you will realize that it is you that are the sons of the living Father. But if you will not know yourselves, you will dwell in poverty and it is you who are that poverty."
Gospel of Thomas
This is coherent with my philosophy. my terminology is just different. whereas he used sons of the father I say shards of the absolute (considering that the Father and the Absolute are the creative impetus of all things.).
Gnostic teachings such as this permeates buddhism hinduism islam judaism egyptianism mithraism etc. . .
I find that the root of all religions is not religious and promotes self control and democracy. Clever how every subsequent and derivative religion imposes the rule of hierarchal control. and the belief that mankind can't be attain or share the fruits of divinity equally and without rites.
Why is it that introspection (meditation) upon self (or inner) divinity not paramount.
It is funny why many don't want to except that jesus, if he ever existed, was killed for being a free thinker and challenging the validity of societal hierarchal frameworks.
honestly NO one would just kill someone for telling people to love one another.
but people WILL kill someone who challenges their religious and societal beliefs and refutes them as mere trivialities.
people will kill someone who says that the elite are unworthy of their positions and must be brought down to establish equality amongst the masses.
Have any of you pondered why it is so harmful to a persons psychology to challenge their view of the universe than it is to to challenge their view of themselves?
why is it that people find it harder to accept that they are of equal significance to anything else in the universe than it is for them to believe that they are small and subserviant?
this is all rhetorical just something to think about
