if you heard a snap, cant put pressure on it, you broke it. If u can put a lil pressure on it, its swollen, u can limp while walkin on it, its just a sprain. If its just a sprain, do the R.I.C.E. method. Rest, Ice, Compression and Elevation. I did that and I was good in a week after having a hella bad sprain from jogging. Didnt have to see a doctor.
