I'VE BEEN WANTING TO MAKE BEATS FOR A LONG TIME NOW AND I GOT THE OPPERTUNITY TO GET SOME EQUIPMENT I BOUGHT A TRITON KORG WORKSTATION/SAMPLER WITH SOME STUDIO SPEAKERS. I READ IN ONE OF YOUR POST THAT YOU GATHERED ENOUGH SCRILL TO BUY ENOUGH EQUIPMENT TO MAKE A CD. IF YOU COULD TELL ME I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT YOU GOT. AND IF YOU YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS ON WHAT ELSE I SHOULD GET I WOULD APPRECIATE IT. LIKE A REACORDER I STILL DONT KNOW HOW TO SAVE ON THE FLOPPY DISK. IVE BEEN PLAYIN WITH IT FOR A WHILE AND MADE SOME ALRIGHT BEATS. ITS HARDER THAN I THOUGHT. AND I DONT EVEN HAVE A CLUE HOW TO PLAY A PIANO JUST BY EAR. WOODIE DO YOU KNOW HOW TO PLAY? IF YOU COULD ANSWER THESE ?'S ESPEACIALLY THE EQUIPMENT PART I WOULD APPRECIATE IT.

@Jay if he doesn't answer your question in the next few days(he most likely will) go down to near the bottom of the screen and look through the past threads on the other pages. I know this subject has been discussed before and woodie listed all the equipment he uses so you could probably find it if you spent a little time on it.

he has produced most of em. if you look on ne4 towards the end of the cd he didn't produce some of them. lil los does help out, but i think it is on the songs he is on. he also worked with dj dev and sonny formato from street flavor records on demonz in my sleep.
hey homeboy, how much you pay for all that you have right now. i want to get a keyboard too. stay up and good luck

the keyboard was around $2,400 and the speakers were $250 each. it has all the sounds on it already all drum and even deep bass to bump. but you can install a chip for more sounds but it already has a lot.

AS FOR A DIGITAL RECORDER I RECOMMEND THE ROLAND 1880 "$1800-$2000" TO START WITH AND ATLEAST ONE "IT HOLDS UP TO TWO" VS8F-1 EFFECTS BOARDS "$280" THAT INSTALLS INSIDE THE UNIT AND A QUALITY LARGE DIAPHRAM CONDENSOR MIC "AUDIO TECHNICA MAKES SOME GOOD ONES BETWEEN $250-$500" THE EFFECTS BOARD HAS A BUILT IN COMPRESSOR/LIMITER YOU CAN INSERT WHEN RECORDING YOUR VOCALS THAT WORKS GOOD WHICH I USED ON MY FIRST THREE AND A HALF ALBUMS THEN YOU CAN APPLY TWO SEPARATE STEREO EFFECTS OR FOUR IF YOU BUY TWO VS8F-1 EFFECT BOARDS AT MIXDOWN. RUN THE FINAL MIXES DIGITAL VIA A DIGITAL CABLE NOT ANALOG TO A CD BURNERS DIGITAL INPUT THEN TO THE MASTERING STUDIO. GOOD LUCK.
