Woodpile formed on December 13 2002, in the Sick Southwest, when solo artist Diesoul Etherbunny teamed up with former death metal musician Critical and his blood brother, freestyle battle rapper Crisis. They gained immediate attention in their home town of Phoenix Arizona, with unstoppable in your face live performances that leave fans demanding more and club owners calculating the dollars earned in spite of the damage delivered!!! Woodpile, while performing, displays an uncanny resemblance to a live rock show with energetic bouncing stage antics and mosh pits to boot. Over the past three years Woodpile has rapidly become the underground’s largest and most controversial rap group. Pioneering the way for aggravated circus lunge trunk funk; the sound now known as “cult music”… With over 300 shows to date throughout the West, Midwest and South, sold out merchandise at every show including more than 9000 copies of their underground album, Woodpile is set to take their own blend of musical mayhem to the masses on their first commercial release with “The Streets Will Never Be The Same.”
