what's up wood? i am thinkin about trying to get your stuff on the radio out here in new york. i don't know if you have ever heard of it, but the radio station is hot 97 out in manhattan. i called em up today and asked if i sent them a cd, would they play it. i don't know which song i am gonna ask them to play, but i wanted to know if you even invite this. if you don't want me to i won't, but i think it's time you get some recognition out here. if they don't play it, than at least i know i tried. also pick a few songs that you would want the people of NYC to hear as their introduction to woodie. stay up man, and i i hope this works out for you.

well, the radio station itself is ass. the morining show is good though for the fact that it's all on the dj named star. they're whole thing on the morning show is pissin people off, so if i send it in with a good reason why he should play it, then i think it has a good chance of puttin it on. this fool plays dood from n'sync cause he got him to admit he eat britney spears' snatch when they were together. he plays the rock group rush, master p, and at the same time doggs jay z and def jam and won't play their shit on his show. i'm a type somethin up and send it in with a cd i guess. since radio works on a delay i think they can play just a normal cd, plus he cusses all the time and says stuff like "faggot ass nigga bitch" on the air. this is the only time i think i can get your shit on there but i think it is worth a shot at least, like i said though, let me know which couple of songs you would want on the radio. i was thinkin like dirty deeds, take my soul and maybe another one or 2. let me know what's up and if you have any shit to send em or like a radio vinyl that's edited it would be cool. late

funny you mention that, cause one of the first things he said on monday was, "God damn i got some fine latin cooch last night, beat it up." this fool is raw. the shitty thing is though, i can't listen to the station everyday. i can only listen to it when we are in the car, so i might miss it if they do ever play it. i have confidence though that if he plays it a couple of times, it will get requested later on in the day. shit man, i really hope this shit gets played homie, this could open doors for all of us out west, but more importantly for nortenos. new york is the hardest area to break the mold on the radio, but we gon give it a shot. i'll try and do it by next week homie.

I have a feeling those two songs would blow up over there. You have to give them something that they can feel right away without losing interest. I like most or all of the material woodie has put out but a big reason for that is the fact that I've been listening to him since Yoc influenced dropped so I'm used to his style. What people think all depends on the first impression. So pick something that everyone can feel. I can tell you from experience that those two songs have never failed me. Homeboys, homegirls, party girls, Skaters, rockers, asians, black homies. All of them say . "Aye , whos this. Its tight"

@anthony, i know homie, that's why i went with the songs i have chosen so far. take my soul was the first woodie song i heard. after that i went and got all his shit cause the lyrics, beat and delivery were all on sight. i may go with the way you feel or dreamin a life, cause those are real laid back radio friendly types. man, it is messed up out here though. you show songs to people that you would think there is no way they wouldn't feel, and they hate on it. i think that if he plays it, with like little to no introduction, just say it's woodie and the name of the song, it would do alot better. once they hear it is from cali, they hate on it, it's like that. so we'll see what happens.
