HOW I'M LIVIN'? JUST BARELY SURVIVIN' BUT SURVIVIN' DOIN' MY OWN SHIT. I TRIED WORKIN' 9 TO 5'S IN 96' AND 97' TRYIN TO SHAKE THAT FELONY PROBATION AND I WENT THROUGH ABOUT 5 OF 'EM TIL I EITHER QUIT OR GOT FIRED. I'LL DIE BEFORE I WORK UNDERNEATH SOME SUCKAZ EVER AGAIN. I PUT MY FIRST LARK UP FOR COLLATERAL AND GOT A PERSONAL LOAN, WENT AND BOUGHT ENOUGH GEAR TO MAKE AN ALBUM "YOC INFLUENCED" HUSTLED AND SLUNG IT LIKE DOPE CITY TO CITY STORE TO STORE RIPPIN' YELLOW PAGES OUT IN EACH TOWN I STOPPED IN TO FIND THE STORES AND THE REST IS HISTORY. IN A WAY.

that's what i'm sayin. i wanted to do something with this music so badly, but i didn't see a huge opportunity for me where i was at, plus i had no grip or possessions or a place to get the equipment. i guess that's why i took the "sucka way out" as some people say and joined the military. much respect though wood, you puttin it down real serious.

I just wanna spit my shit, keep it real... If I got only one supporter or if lots of people feel my music, either way its all good... In the meantime, Ima keep lookin up to the cats who had to work hard to get where they at, not the fuckers who cant stop talkin about their jewelry and platinum records...

i mean, it was alot of stuff to look at. i was in oklahoma at the time. i knew my market would be in california, so it was that much harder for me. i mean, i am half white and mexican, and in oklahoma, especially at that time, you get shit on if you are mixed or a minority, and it goes the other way too, since there is so much racism there. if you look white at all, it is kinda hard to get accepted doin rap i am sure. i mean, people that knew me didn't trip on it, but tryna sell cd's or put em on consignment anywhere would have been real tough. i still have the love, but my mind is else where with a different focus now. stay up

yeah, i am on that same page. honestly, i didn't care if i sold one copy south of monterey or north of chico. i didn't care if people didn't recognize me outside of that area either. rap stars are still people, but it is funny how money make a person switch it up. i was a big fan of c-bo, but now he talking that ballin shit, and master p was still good when he had the money up until after the ghetto dope cd, but they ain't livin the gangsta life anymore, so i can understand why they switched up. i mean, they prolly still real people to talk to, but it don't come across as much in the songs anymore.

Real talk.. too many fuckers out there dont take your shit too seriously if ur white... Which I think is bullshit, I mean shit, all people can have talent in their music, not just a certain race... When I play Woodie to some kats and they look at the cover and see he's white, they get all shocked, and I'm like, what the fuck for, you think talent only comes to the rappers youre used to seeing...? I guess these days everyone gets their thoughts from MTV and shit where there aren't really many white rappers... It's just that common assumption... actually its a stereotype to think that rap is limited to one race... peace

yeah lots of people do it for the money... For me, personally, the money wouldnt really mind to me cuz i aint that bad off as it is, but if i had a choice, of course its money over fame... People who would identify with my shit in the first place is the kats whose keepin' it real...

if i could get the equipment, i wouldn't too much care about the money. if were doin it for little or no dough, i would keep my face off the cd's though cause there is no point in not being able to go to the store cause you a legend if you ain't ballin off it. that was another thing too, this would be my name i think for rappin, chrisdogg14. i would be reppin watsonville and cali altogether, but, i wouldn't want to be known in the public eye. i would still want to be able to get a gallon of milk or loaf of bread at the store, go to the boardwalk comfortably, you dig? but i am sure everyone would say, hey, this homeboy is talkin big shit, but is afraid to show his face. i think maybe that's why i never went through with it cause i think maybe it was more important to me to be "normaL" in a sense. i don't know, maybe i am rambling on

i think y'all didn't read it right. i said as some people say, the sucka way out. i ain't trippin on it, cause if i felt it was truly a sucka way out, i would not have done it, it's that simple. i am proud to serve this country, i really am. but some homeboys is hating on it, cause i am "a fed" now, or so they say. it ain't like that. it's not like i am kickin in doors and bustin old homeboys on drug charges, i am protectin our freedoms and i didn't see myself having anything but kids, unwanted baby momma's and a fat sentence. so i did this. i don't regret it one bit. this has been the absolute best thing i think i could have done. i think i will get out in a couple years, but i have laid the foundation on a great future for me and my girl, without sellin out a homeboy, and doin it legal with some integrity. some people have hated on me in this room even, so fukk em, i am comin up and they gettin left behind. this ain't for everyone, the military i mean, but it was cool for me. stay up
