I think it has a ways to go, but eventually, and it might be 20 years from now, women's MMA will be a respected part of fighting. Right now all there really is is the cream of the crop women- Cyborg, Gina, Coenen, Tate, Kaufman, Mega Megu, Fausto, etc. and everyone else is just a body to get wailed on by one of the top girls.
But it could happen sooner with someone like Julia Budd coming out of nowhere and beating the dogshit out of one of the contenders in Olsen. I think it's a matter of when girls who could be successful decide they want to get punched in the tits for a living
