On Thursday, Demirhan contacted someone because "she wanted her husband to go away and she wanted to hire someone to make it happen," according to an arrest affidavit released Monday said.
This unidentified person put Demirhan in touch with a detective who then posed as a hit man and meet with her at Banana Lake Park in Lakeland.
There, she discussed her desire to have her husband, Atilla Demirhan, killed "very soon," the report said
Demirhan lacked the $10,000 to pay for the hit but on Saturday offered the title to a 2012 Ford van as an initial payment, the report said
She also promised three other vehicles or $10,000 to be paid in 10 days.
She thanked the hit man for his services.
A few hours later, the woman was pulled over for a traffic stop and informed her husband was "shot and killed."
She was taken to an interview room to discuss the incident.

But when detectives started to question her, she became hostile and denied knowing the undercover detective or being involved in any plan to kill her husband.
She added she was happy with her husband.
