PALM BAY, Fla. -- A 28-year-old woman is accused of using a Tonka truck as a weapon to beat and injure her husband during an argument.
Autumn Lavin, of the 600 block of Chaloupe Street, was charged with aggravated battery after Palm Bay police were called to the home to investigate reports of a disturbance.
Police said Lavin and her husband got into a heated argument over a child that had run into traffic.
Lavin then picked up the child’s toy and slammed it into the man's head, police told Local 6 News partner Florida Today. Lavin then scratched the man on the left side of his face, officers said.
Police arrived a few minutes later and Lavin told officers to take her to jail, Florida Today reported.
She was arrested, charged and taken to the Brevard County Jail Complex in Sharpes.
