DES MOINES, Iowa -- An Iowa woman was arrested after an alleged assault by bratwurst after she hurled the German sausage at another woman during a fight, KCCI-TV reported Tuesday, citing a police report.
The Des Moines, Iowa, police report said the Monday altercation began when Tajuana Banks, 31, came to the home of Connie Jones and began an argument over the care of Jones' granddaughter, KCCI reported.
Jones, 63, told police that Banks yelled profanities at her in an attempt to start a fight.
According to KCCI, Jones said she refused to fight until Banks picked up a nearby bratwurst and threw it at the woman's chest.
The police report included notes about grease marks on Jones' clothing, KCCI reported.
