How long does it take for the wound to heal? Its been like 10 days and this wound is still open. I swear theres a piece of a sliced peach stuck in that bitch. I was digging all up in there but came away with nothing but blood.

LMAO! You a funny cat.

But yeah, thats good news to me. I'm over here paranoid as fuck asking my colleagues about dry socket and shit. Turns out if I had a dry socket I would know.

Dry socket usually occurs on the bottom teeth and between 2-7 days after the surgery. You actually MIGHT have food stuck in there. I recently got a back molar extracted and when I went in for my 1 week checkup he had to spray out a chunk of food that had compacted in there lol. I had been using the saltwater rinse but not vigorously enough I guess. Anyway he gave me a little turkey baster type thing to use for a few days at night just to spray some warm water up in that bitch...No problems since

My advice: don't drink anything out of a bottle, suction is bad. Straws are all bad too.
I managed to escape any infections or anything, I was lucky. All I got was some pinner ass vicodin though.
