Had all four pulled at the same time, in highschool...they were impacted, so they had to cut my gums open, break the teeth, and pull them out...I swelled up for the first couple days...on day three I strapped on my helmet and went to football practice...spit a little blood, but it didn't hurt too bad...coach loved me after that.

I had all of mine taken out at the same time. The pain after the surgery was nothin compared to the pain I was in before. I think they gave me 4 vicodin, and I was pretty cool. Tried to drive myself to work the same day, fucked up on the anesthesia.

SO- FOR SOME REASON, IN MY FAMILY- TEETH GROW BACK AFTER THEY EITHER GET KNOCKED OUT, OR PULLED OUT.


I HAD A FULL SET OF 4 WISDOMS REMOVED @ 18 - THEN AGAIN 2 MORE WISDOMS GREW BACK @ 21, HAD THEM OUT - THEN THE BOTTOM ONES GREW BACK @ 23.
NOW I AM 28, & THE TOP ONES ARE COMMING IN.

ITS GOT ITS UPS N DOWNS...I HAD 3 TEETH KNOCKED OUT WITH A BAT @ 16, THEY ALL CAME BACK IN A YEAR.

Exactly why must you have to have your wisdom teeth taken out? I'm lettin my shit grow naturally fuck the bullshit, during the growth process it hurts like a bitch due to the wisdom teeth being so damn sharp and sometimes my gums would grow over the sharp wisdom tooth so when ever I'd bite on something I could feel the sharp pain from my wisdom poking on my gums.

Tell them Hydrocodone (aka vicodin) has weird effects on you and that you have to be prescribed something stronger.

They will give you percocet.

BUT THE WORST IS....ABSOLUTLY, DO NOT SMOKE, OR SUCK THROUGH A STRAW FOR THE FIRST 2 OR 3 DAYS - IT CAUSES "DRY SOCKET"...& THATS THE MOST PAIN YOUR FACE WILL EVER EXPERIENCE.

i just got mine pulled about 3 months ago...i don't know how bad it would have been if the fuckin novakaine would have worked like it was suppose to...they gave me like 10-12 shots and i was still feelin a lil of the pain when he was pullin and shit...but afterwards i was eatin ice cream only for like 4 days...and i'm not sure if it was just me, cuz my bottom left tooth wouldn't come out like the others, but my mouth was bleedin the rest of the day i got em pulled and the whole day after...

you'll be straight. it's all on the person cause when i got mines pulled it didn't hurt cause i was hella numb but in aggorovating having your mouth wide open for so long and the dentist not having respect for your mouth and not giving a fuck when he's using those damn pliers. but it's not that bad after they give you the drugs.

You just got to do it. I was nervous too, because they told me they needed to take out a total of 5 teeth! Yeah, the wisdom teeth plus one muller(sp) because one of the wisdoms was coming in crooked and fuckin up my other tooth.

So, they knocked me out and they started conducting their business, when man, I fucking woke up in the middle of the shit- all the medicine wore off but I couldnt move or say shit, and I could see them with their hands in my mouth drilling away....it was the worst fucking pain I ever felt in my life! oh man, I could see blood squirtin out of my face and shit! lol, just playin. shit went cool. It just sucks the first day, but after that its not bad at all.
