who has have there wisdom teeth pulled out...and what kind of pain is it

ahhh its bad. I had all four taken out. Plus I missed my spring break my senior year because of the surgery. Damn I hated that shit. It hurts. Luckily I got hella pain killers and slept most of the first day. If you smoke your fucked cause you cant smoke. And eating is hard as hell too. I couldn't eat shit except jello. Plus my face swelled up so I looked like a chipmunk. You'll be cool. Atleast you get four days off.

i think it is different for different people. my shit didnt bug at all and 2 of them had to be dug out. i looked like a chipmunk for a few days but minimal pain...thats what all the vicodin is for.

Yeah like Smuggla said it is different for different people. I picked up one of my friends after he got them taken out and he was moaning and shit. Saying how much it hurt. So when I had to get mine out I thought it was going to really hurt bad. Funny enough it didn't really hurt that much. For me it was more of just a annoyence having those holes in your mouth. It got a little sore but really didn't hurt. I didn't even take my Vic's I sold them to my friends mom LOL.

I just had mine taken out last week. The pain wasnt too bad, I took a lot of pain killers though. The constant bleeding on the first day is really shitty. I ate a lot of soup the last week...

They put me out to take all four at once.... my girl picked me up, took two Darvocet- four hours later took two Tylenol PM.... the next day no pain, no swelling, nothin'.. the gauze and bleeding on the first day was irritating but it wasnt bad as I thought it was gonna be..

When I had all four yanked, I didn't even bleed after the surgery. I never used the gauze, but I was gone off of painkillers for about a week. I had it done during the summer when I didn't really have shit to do and that whole week was a blur. The surgeon that did mine laced me up sick with percocets and I believe he even gave me demerol to use the first day. I never felt any pain whatsoever because of the good meds. My face did swell a little bit but it wasn't too bad because I kept ice on my face for a long time. Put some ice in a sock or a pillow case and use that ice pack as a sort of chinstrap around your jaw, and you shouldn't swell up and bruise too bad. Just make sure they give you percs, don't even bother with the vicodin........

the pain all depends on the person. i was eating mcdonalds an hour after I got min pulled and I had an extra tooth pulled out at the same time. I didnt use any of the vicodin, I saved it for when I could really enjoy it.

I got mine pulled 3 months ago, fucking sucked cuz my gum got infected from the wisdom tooth somehow so I had a bigass cist (sp?) right next to the wisdom tooth so they had to pop it and then take the tooth out so I was laid out for like 5 days straight and all they gave me was tylenol 4 or whatever its called. I ate Italian Ice for the whole week

Get the gas when theyre gonna put you out, shits fun as hell. I was staring at a painting of a ship in the ocean and when the gas hit me the water started moving around and the boat was moving with the waves.

I would definitely recommend being put out for the procedure. There was no way I wanted to be awake while they jackhammered my grill piece for an hour and extracted broken tooth fragments. It costs more, but I'd say it's way worth it because you just wake up off the anesthesia and it's over.

I was awake for mine, and my dentist had his foot up on the chair to get leverage and I could hear my teeth crack inside my mouth when they would tear out.

I was awake. since they found an extra tooth under one of my wisdom, the local anesthetic started to wear off before he got to it. hurt like a bitch.

I had mine out when I was 19. I was awake the entire time... I got a high tolerance for pain, so it was nothin plus I wanted to be awake to stare at the dentist asst big ol titties.

yeah I got insurance through my job, It ended up costing me $8 for 6 fillings and having my wisdom teeth removed.

Just have your dentist either prescribe Tylenol 3's

Or some Tylenol with codeine you will be Aight!
