had to buy a new ps2 just to play GOW2 cause the one i have had since day one of launch wouldnt read it...

so now since i got an up and running ps2 i figured i might as well get it hooked up online and spark up socom again. always had mine hard wired previously so dont have experience with hooking one up wirelessly.

i noticed it doesnt seem sony makes a bridge in the way that microsoft did so i am forced to buy a third party one, more than likely a linksys since everything in my network is that brand.

any recomendations though? i mean, will any usb adapter work? is there only certain ones that are compatible? is it a bitch to set up?

The PS2 plays online via wired connection or
you can connect the PS2 to a router and run it wireless.

Adapter for the PS2 link:Network Card

Possible option to connect PS2 Wireless: Linksys
Possible option to connect PS2 Wireless: Freewave
Possible option to connect PS2 Wireless: Netgear
Possible option to connect PS2 Wireless: WGE111
Possible option to connect PS2 Wireless:Belkin G Gaming

I would just like to know is anyone has gone wireless
and which device works well online. Many thanks again...
