wireless internet on xbox 360

anybody knows if i buy one of the cheap computer wireless usb for internet would it work for 360 cus i aint trying to spend $100 on the wireless from microsoft

^^naw homie your shit out of luck. if you get a belkin or even netgear and plug it in too the usb port on the 360, it wont even reconize its there...period! You have to spend the 100 bucks on the offical one or run a Dsl line too the 360.

xraided is right homie, u have to use MS's adapter. i have both a linksys and netgear usb adapts and tried both out for the heck of it. you could however buy a wireless gaming bridge. that works since you're connecting thru the ethernet port. but like white devil said, wired shit is the best. i'd rather drop 25 bucks on a 100 ft of ethernet cable and run thru the house etc. your connection will always be great and is really the cheapest way to go if since you already have a router.

I use the same exact setup for the 360 . Really ,really simple. You can do the same thing with a laptop
