Those have always been summer time albums to me. Gin and juice, Nothin' but a G Thang, Let Me Ride, Whats My Name? All summer-time party anthems, in my opinion. In the wintertime, I like a lot of the darker sounding classic NY shit, such as: Unreasonable Doubt, Illmatic, It Was Written, AZ, Cormega, etc. Shit sounds especially good when you're driving in the rain.

Agree, a lot of older New York albums and songs just sound better to me when it's raining. Nas, Wu, Mega, etc

i feel you on that.but most of the songs on those albums are dark.them scary drdre beats (murder was the case,cerial killa,nigga wit a gun,ladi dadi,stranded on death row,high powered,the shiznit,for all my niggaz and bitches,gz and hustlaz and even lil ghetto boy) that shit is good winter time music. also young bleed-(balls and my word) album is good to.
