Everytime I start my comp, I get a screen that says the domain does not match something or another and I have to type in my password for the administrator... after I enter it, my comp loads up fine. I even get this screen when I enable the option to log into diff. accounts by clicking on the logo. Any ideas on how to fix this?

you need to go into your control panel for network & dialup connections...

i couldn't really tell you exactly cuz i don't have XP and it depends on how your internet is setup...

if you don't need multiple accounts on your machine, i'd say to set it up so it defaults to one user and that will avoid logging in altogether.

try searching on google for help...

i have one administrator account that asks for a password... it is not the typical screen that shows up when you have multiple accounts and all you have to do is click an icon to log on...

@fuckoff

it is a network problem and connecting to the internet is considered networking. any connection to another computer or group of computers is networking.

@skilz
it may be default but you can change it. i've setup an xp machine before and it doesn't ask for a password everytime you boot. nor does it automatically try to connect to anything. it can be changed.

when it starts up there is a box with administrator in the username and the password is blank... another window pops up on top of that and says the system could not log you in because the domain or password do not much something or another...

Yeah it comes like that. My shit does it too. I'm about to go back to Windows ME. Its easier and quicker.
dumb move. ME is tha worst OS ever created (aside from tha first legacy OS's). if you're gonna down-grade then i suggest you go to Windows 2000 or NT, but definately not ME.

its automatic with windows xp...cant change it...its a part of the program
bullshit. mine doesnt do that shit.

i'd have to be sitting in front of your computer to really know wut'z wrong with it and fix it. you should call a tech hotline or take it in to a CST and they'll fix it for you.
