interesting to hear a country and reggae mix. he's obviously not jamaican so the reggae feel comes more from instrumentation and song styling. But he is a country man so the instrumentation and songs are almost as equally country as they are reggae.
i can't really stand country music (at least that stuff most these hicks consider to be country these days), but someone like willie nelson or johnny cash is quality music no matter how you slice it or what you call it.
so it's interesting to see how the experiment of country/reggae came out.
i've only listened to the album once yet since i've been out of town, i'll have to listen more to give a better idea.
if you're interested in it don't buy it based on anything i said, but it is worth downloading i'd say.
