The title should mention Pay As You Go instead of Contract Free. You can purchase an iPhone without a monthly obligation as long as you buy the phone at full price. You will still have a monthly bill but you can cancel service at any time without penalty. The only time you will enter a contract is when you get the subsidized price a.k.a. 2 year pricing.
