I know a lot of TI, Ludacris, etc. fans would disagree, but Project Pat is in the top cats in the south. While so many other southern cats have had to change up their style to sell, Project Pat has consistently stayed true to himself and his core fanbase. Now, with 3-6 blowing up with the Oscars, Project Pat has the chance to finally get the mainstream attention he deserves.....and if "Good Googly Moogly" is any indication, he still hasn't changed....anyway, that's just my take

word. hes always had some good shit. ill listen to his albums from start to finish. unlike some of these other wanks that i have to skip through their albums to listen to the good tracks or some that i can only listen to bout 4-5 of their tracks before i have to turn it off. some of these motherfuckas just repeat themselves in different words to different beats. pimps like TI and Luda and Yung Joc are just finding different ways to say the same shit about the streets. they are all sicc but shit gets old real fast. any and i mean ANY HCP track new or old is what ill be smashin.
Yea his last one was kinda weak but "Can it be", "I am da gangsta" and "74 minutes of bump" are off the hook. Thats 3 classic albums out of one rapper, i guess every rapper that drops that much shit is entitled to one lame album. I think Gangsta Pat is one of the dopest rappers out of M Town period and he only had like 3 or 4 dope albums, His first 2 were lame as hell.

Their both from Nashville..just saying because everyone on the list you made are from Memphis...except Lil Tec he is from Junction City, Kansas.
Lil Milt always went hard on the comps he was on...but his actual album was crap minus two really sick songs.
I like Project Pat's music a lot personally...but he isn't even near the best from Memphis...let alone the whole south.

Mr.Sche is pretty much the best in Memphis as of this moment music wise.
His style is versatile and his songs have a lot of depth and substance.
Now he might not be the greatest rhyme wise but what he is saying on a lot of tracks is real,has a purpose, etc...and he does get buck and gangsta too.
Plus he makes all his own beats...and for the most part he has a unique sound.And Sche's music keeps progressing.
Sche's put on very few cds nationally...most of them have been underground released.But those who know of him and have heard his underground cds they know how dope he is.
In ways I'd say Playa Fly is also the other best but with jail time for like the last 6 years he kinda of lost his place but still remains a legend and he's out now and coming with a new album.
As for top 25 in Memphis...hmm thats kinda hard to make but here is some rappers who either they had a really dope style or they are just been great even though some have rapped very little but these are some of the best.
