thatz tha only thing holdin me back. i got a 50 inch hdtv and i want to use it for blu ray and i dont really play many gamez juzt madden and other sportz gamez so i waz thinkin i would juzt go w tha 360 but that dont play blu ray im juzt tryin to get tha mozt i can out of my tv

The price is definatley the main factor, that is when you compare it to the 360 which will get a lot of the same titles as the ps3 plus better ones. I don't think the ps3 will even have a head tart with the gta game that's going to come out because I beleive it's coming out on the same day as the 360 version, instead of waiting a while for the xbox version like previous installments.

the timing was just off. XBOX was already established in the last generation and they got a 1 year head start. So most people already owned a 360 and there wasn't really a convincing reason to buy a PS3, plus with such a high price I think people were skeptical. I use it as a blu ray player for now and use my 360 for all the newest games.

When more 1080p's are prevalent and people find out stand alone Blu-Ray players cost a grip, the PS3 will start sellin. By that time, PS3 will have more games available. PS3 60g is equivalent to a 360 with a Hi-Def player.

1080p aint even used that much tho most tv broadcasters use 1080i or 720p
