why is it that 99% of fans at rap shows are white?

alright, look, i am not a racist. I just dont understand why rap shows attract hardly any african american fans. I just went to the nickatina show in sacramento, and the ONLY blacks in the whole place were those performing, or those part of the rappers entourage. can someone explain this?

for the same reason why majority of there records sales come from upperclass white kids...A. cause they can afford to buy it , get tickets to the show. B. the upper class white kids are so amazed by the lifestyle and want to soak up as much as they can , so they too themselves can be "cool".

^^^^ Thats not true. The real reason (Iam white and love rap) is because some of us like word play I could care less about some one in the projects. I dont want to be like anyone, my basis is the simple fact that someone had a good idea and ran with it. I thik its ignorant to want to be like anyone in a gang or anyone who sells crack. I listen to rap as a release just like I listen to the deftones or mudvayne, I love music, it matters not what music is a release. Iam sure there are some white kids who act like that. But there is also black kids who hang with prepie kids and talk upper class. If a black kid listens tot he deftones does that mean he wants to embrace white culture? No it doesnt. Plus most blacks I talk to like Jay-Z Mos def and shit like that, at a Jay-Z show my friend form class went to he said there was about a hundred black people and he and some of his friends were like the only white kids there. So dont say that White kids want to be cool because they listen to rap. Because I hat Jay-Z, Nelly, Mos Def, Talib Kweli(Racist bitch), because either the beat is gay and its mainstream or their to busy talking about Black struggle which I could give to shits about( we all struggle and its pointless to say one race struggles more). White people like crazy shit and Nickatina is crazy just like D.E., Esham, Icp, Lynch, Tech N9ne, Del, Dr. Octagon, these rappers bring cultures together unlike those black struggle rappers who think rap is limited to blacks. The term "Street Promoter" doesn't necessarily imply that there are people on the street in the ghetto letting people know that theres a hot album or show. Just spreading the word or passing out flyers of an artist is street promoting.
