I think when people say the Bay is back they mean it's no longer acceptable to flood the market with garbage records that sound like they took one week to record. The Bay is back because the quality of artist and producers has elevated. The young generation of Bay artist will have many years in the game.

Are you kidding me? Man the bay was damn near obsolete for a number of years. Nothing but junk came out of the bay for a number of years. People are saying the bay is back mainly because we were not getting much recognition. Now that this hyphy shit kicked off, we are getting more and more exposure as time is progressing.

I started listening to bay rap since Mac Dre's YBB record, spice one, cobra, the click, e40, seff, quinn, 11/5, cwh, kharyee etc......and i can tell you, shit died down for a long minute.
