im filipino and all my friends and fam are strict as hell when we grew up and as for either being asian or pac islanders, i consider us asians...they say shit like " oh but your from an island" and i tell em so is japan, taiwan and indonesia. We are almost as close to mainland China as Japan is

Only asian girls want cute, small dogs. I dont know but guys, but for me, I've had German Shepards, Boxers and Yellow Labs. I like dogs that are good companions more than tryna show off one.

They're a mix of both (generally speaking - different groups of people living at different times on those islands for the last 30,000 or so years) and pretty diverse in terms of appearance (at least to these eyes). The Philippines is a melting pot when compared to other places in that region.

In terms of dogs, I've seen a lot Filipinos owning 'regular' sized dogs. Like f31roger mentioned it's the girls into those small dogs.
