What's really? When I spend my $$$ I wanna get the most out of it. I'm not f*cking with compilations and all of that bs anymore cause in 2001 I bought all those comps and there were only a handful of songs that were even listenable. Even some of yall favorite artists drop average solo albums that get superhyped up only to disappoint. Holla back.

I usually support artists that have consistently made quality music. If I know a new 40, Mac Dre, Mac Mall, etc. album is coming out I'll pick it up without giving it a preview.

Hahahaha yeah cuz, 2001 was the year of the fuckin Bay comp, everyone and they momma put one out, and besides Heated Speeches they were all fuckin retarded.

Recycled tracks and throwaways that wouldn't even make the bootleg of an album. I must have about 30 or 40 different comps from 2000/2001 that are mostly full of shit.

You could make a game out of it, just get a bunch of gangsta words and put them in a hat and pull two out and title the comp that. Cali Block Kingz. Money Hittaz.

Then go get 14 tracks no one else wanted, but make sure they from well known cats with long names that you can list on that bootsy front cover like the whole of Cali is on one CD.

It helps if your label sounds really retarded.

^ that CD was by "Collect 'N' Cabbage" Records, and yeah, I paid full price for that joint. I don't know what I was smoking.

yeahh real talk.

i only buy shit i know it's a hot album that i'll listen to over again or if i'm hella feelin' the artists and i wanna support them. even if i know i can just DL online and i've already DLed most of the tracks, it always feels good supporting them by going out or going online to buy albums/mixtapes.

I buy peoples who's hustle I respect. I can see someone is comfortable being them, and not doing a bad job trying to be someone else. I also like humbled artist who are just happy to be here and do "they" thang. Those artist tend to make albums you can listen to fron to back... with maybe one skip due to the feel of the song, and not how garbage it is.
