rappers don't know who the underground rappers are??? It seems as if some foks believe mainstream rappers just live totally separate lives than everyone else. Most mainstream rappers come up outta the underground scene. Don't get it twisted.

what are you agreeing to? your post aint really related to the thread.

but for real. you can tell a lot of the time who listens to what. it shows in their music. like e-40 is one of nelly's top three favs and he says shit like pimp juice and whatnot.

or dudes like TI say yadidimean so they surely listen to keak or dre or both

When you think about it, we all start local, local is underground, it's his choice to express his respect for the underground, or acknowledge it and continue. You can't hate on the same cat in a higher chair.

But several of them would care less about all them underground styles from many parts of the country and even in the rest of the world, some rapheads do sign into major labels for the first time tho without any independent label with them and no wonder they get fucked most of the time.

I dont see how they couldnt go back and give some love to the underground guys though. Its like if a guy from the ghetto made the NFL and then said 'fuck them' and never gave back to his community

@Slowpoke: ya sure, but that guy better have sucked one hell of a dick for $100

9th wonder produced for jay-z, rhymefest wrote jesus walks and sold it to kanye, eminem came from the underground, lost to juice two straight years in scribble jam... nas and immortal technique have been rumored to do a track together, interscope has been trying to get atmosphere to sign with them for the longest time, same with bad boy trying to get eyedea, everyone knows each other, its just like two different genres in one genre, whoever said they dont cross paths doesnt know what they're talking about......

that Nas/IT rumor was fake. And if Bad Boy ever signed Eyedea I would stop listening to music for the rest of my life. Thats the dumbest thing Ive ever herd
hence i said IT and Nas were Rumoured!! And yes bad boy did court eyedea for a contract and yes he did turn it down
