Im not trying to start any shit, im curious as to why people dont like Hollis beats?
I think he is tight. I understand he has specific sounds that he uses a lot, but so do all producers, thats what makes them individual - Like a Dre beat has a specific sound you expect to hear, same with Rick Rock, or DJ Premier.
Luni's Ready For War is nearly a perfect beat, that slaps so hard. My only past criticism of Hollis is sometimes his beats have been mixed and mastered like shit, the whole Raided & Kingpin album for instance, that shit hurts the ears its mixed so badly.
