Man Ive been readin peoples post on here about Jay-z. I respect an opinion about not feelin Jay-Z's music. But to go out and say Jay-Z is a bitch and "Gay -Z" what type of punk shit is that. There are hella rappers that i dont feel. like South park Mexican i cant stand his music. but i respect that mans hustle and i aint puttin down what that man has done for him self, but to say "i fukin hate SPM and call him gay and shit like that. What has he done 2 me? nuthin. What has Jay done to me nothin. Some one said earlier on another post said "what happened to ridin for your side" what side is that. back when Pac and Big were beefin and the East West fued was high. I knew hella cats that didnt want to listen to Biggie even though they knew his shit was hot, just cause Pac disliked him. people need to formulate their own opinions instead of bein followers. I aint knockin nobody's hustle. but to call someone a bitch just cause they dont agree wit yo is the real ho shit. just my 2 cents

everyone hates on him cus he takes bay area slang. me i dont like his music period. i only liked one song from him and that song is "jigga what, jigga who?" this topic is getting old.

I don't hate Jay-Z or even hate on Jay-Z. I don't like his music period and I think he bites people to come up. I think it's called ear hustlin' ya know. Jackin' people to come up (like Master P did) Plus I think he's highly overrated. He was voted number 2 MC and this cat can't even come up with creative lyrics let alone freestyle. His music seems repetitive and he doesn't bring anything new to the rap game. That's why I don't like him or his music. Now I don't go as far as calling him gay but if someone else does big deal! Some of y'all are being waaay too over protective of this cat.

But I would like to see or hear someone get with him lyrically. Someone (from the bay) needs to put him in his place and battle rap him head up on pay per view since Jay-Z keeps picking on Nas and Nas ain't really trippin' no more. He should take on all challengers like a heavyweight champ.

A-Wax is finna get wit him! Support that boy!!

Jay'z is just weak period. I can't understand why anybody likes that goofy looking fool. How can you bite Pac's song "Me and my girlfriend" when Pac hated that fool with a passion.

Pac rapped over the jr mafia beat on hitemup cuz he was clownin on them, not because he couldn't get his own beats. I don't know if 2pac did toss it up before or after that blackstreet track came out because they dropped the same year but if he sample the beat it's probably because he, suge, and the rest of death row didn't like dre. Rappers usually jack other rappers beats when they wanna clown on them.

yeah you aint know all the people killed in the sept 11 attacks but you are still gonna say a prayer for them and say fuck anyone that had to do with that shit right? I aint comparin the two but if someone gets fucked over and something gets taken like a life or even a song with no permission or reason, you are gonna say "fuck that" if you respect them. It aint ridin its just taking a side on a contoversial subject.

I repeat i dont think the two are close in severity but both are fucked up IMO

I dislike Jay-Z because I think he's overrated. I'll admit it, he's a millionaire and he's made it...but he just doesn't sound like the 2nd best emcee to me. I think he has a terrible voice with a flow thats kinda rough...no smoothness to him. He does come up with some pretty original shit.... most of the time..and i did like a few of his songs. but all in all I just don't feel he's worth as much as he's made. I think a lot of it has to with the people promoting his music. also, I'm fed up with hearing his music on the west coast so much. It's cooled off lately, but last year i couldn't turn on KMEL or WILD without hearing that fool. HE makes my blood pressure rise on a bad day.

and lastly, if i knew Pac hated my ass, i wouldn't take one of his beats. Thats too low. Do i want to kill Jay-Z for that? Hell no, cause this is just music. but i do gotta say its pathetic on his part.

Youngmoe-read it again man. I said pretty clearly I was not comparing them as far as severity. they aint even close but my point was you aint got to know the people to stick up for them.
Tupac is dead man and for jay-z to ride on his coatails to make money is fucked up. just cause you dont know him dont mean you cant stand up for him.
