why cant i download from torrents beind a router

on my other computer it will download a torrent...but this one that im connected throug a router on i cant download.....does anyone know why

get your port right on the torrent client and itll download just fine. mine does.

You need a router that has plug-n-play or just open a port on the router itself

Router that's "plug and play"?............Just google Port Forward, it's a nice little site that will help you with forwarding data to specific computers on your network from specific ports.

I had problems too until I hit up the site Likwid's talking about. www.portforward.com All I had to do was log into my router and assign a port to my torrent software (I use utorrent) then log into utorrent and in the preference section fill in that port for incoming connections.
