Tech N9ne - Watch for "Everready" droppin early next year with a gang of unexpected features.

Fat Tone - Like JL said most of his shit bangs, I'd check out "Stick Up Kid" or the new one with Nate Dogg and E-40.

Kutt Calhoun - Just dropped a heater, "BLEVE." Also from the Strange Camp.

Skatterman & Snug Brim - Also puttin it down for the MO with "Urban Legendz"

Empire - New group featuring Grant Rice. Album "Crowned" coming soon.

Big Krizz Kalico - Captain Hook around these parts, you know his vibrant voice on both of Tech N9ne's classics Anghellic and Absolute Power. He's bringing a different style to the game with his R&B/Rap/Opera/Funk/Rock influenced "Funkra" due out early next year.

G. Rice - As heard from Tech's "Tormentid" and Empire, the newest member to Yuk's Regime has a solo "Smiles and Cries" coming soon, so look for that.

BG Bulletwound - Touring with Tech and Strange. Brings more of that new Kansas City flavor with his new yet to be released "G14 Classified."

Boy Big - Doing it big with them smooth vocals. Did a video with Gangstarr called "Nice Girl, Wrong Place" and got Ghost and Raekwon on his latest release "The Playa, The Hustla, The Gentleman."

Rich the Factor - Grinding like always 365 a year. Look for "Ghetto Russel Simmons" coming soon.

Court Dog - Bringin the smooth yet quick shit to the table from No Limit. Check out that "Kansas City Chief" otherwise I believe he's droppin a new one titled "Steel Here" featuring the likes of Tech N9ne, Brotha Lynch and Guerilla Black.

Dice - Keepin up with the speed of the midwest, hes got a different flavor for the world to see. I believe his new album is in the works and some snippets of that you can find on Soundclick. AKA Heeter Kal.

The Popper - Of the Veteran Click has the latest local radio play with his single "I Do" I know he's working on a new one yet to be titled.

And this is only the beginning. :knockout:

Please no one pick up that album.....that is a horrible representation of the town. Probably 3/4 of the artists mentioned above, ones that are actually doing anything positve, aren't even on the album PERIOD. Check the above....also watch for Xta-C, hes doing big things two these days I believe.

Thats a pretty decent list...your missing a few that I could come up with off the top of my head. I wouldn't even come close to saying its ALL tight shit and I'm from the town. But whats up with the RIP by Mr. Stinky?

I'd have to beg to differ....when he does it right it can sound really good. Better than all this dancehall reggae thats all over these days. But I also heard, "Holding Court In The Streets" was a step up from both of those albums.
