damn, i just came back, where do i start? immortal technique ripped into the police and the government beautifully. he did his thing with akir and performed industrial revolution, peruvian cocaine, dance w/ the devil and harlem nights. in the middle of his show he let psycho realm do 2 songs and the crowd went wild! he said they will be collaborating in the future. I.T. performed a new song too, probably for a mixtape. almost every performance featured another artist in the middle of their set. dilated featured defari and he performed over that track from chronic 2001. de la soul featured phife and he started doing a.t.c.q. songs. although billed seperately, talib and mos def reunited as blackstar. mos was better than i expected. the special guest appearance before wu-tang came on was lauryn hill. she was lookin' bummy and had a jazz band play new songs for her. i didn't like it because she was ruining the fugees and her solo songs with some mushed, fast flow she's experimenting with. nobody cared to see her and i was glad i started a boo movement. wu tang didn't come on til' 1 in the morning. in their set, they ran through all the classics you could ever want to hear. then they had an odb tribute moment and they brought his mother out. wu tang wanted the fans to give her appreciation and we did. not a minute later, rza brings jackass steve-o out, i don't know why, to say a few words. this fuckin' idiot strips down naked and does a backward flip in his honor? rza thought it was funny. then raekwon comes out and threatens steve-o he's gonna kick his ass and spend the night in jail if doesn't apologize to odb's mother. he did quick. we were yellin' out like hit him, fuck him up raekwon! then they went back to some more songs and it was over at 2. i sat down on a chair to rest my feet and a black cop who was with a white cop said i had to keep it moving. i said give me a minute. he's like, no, you gotta go now. i said, so arrest me. then the black cop leaned in to pull the chair from under me and i got up first. i slowly walked away from these pussies with a smirk on my face. the white cop got emotional and said get the fuck out of here asshole! the look on these stupid cops was priceless because i challenged them and they couldn't do shit to me. ha, those cops were butthurt because half of the performances made the audience scream fuck the police chants all day and the weed was in the air everywhere. i'm like ice cube, i gotta say it was a good day.
