The return addy is:

Glenda Cowan
Strange Music inc.
811 NW Hunter Dr.

I just wanted to say thanks for putting the 18" poster in the (just about) 18" box along with the rest of my 85$ order, which included three t-shirts, and a girls tank. That made a lot of sense.

Next time I'll know to order the posters separate from my other orders.

::sigh::

And just so you guys know, the red screaming Tech/Strange Music shirt is awesome. The headphones shirt... Not nearly as detailed as the riotmaker shirt, even though they look almost identical on the site. My Riotmaker shirt is much nicer, although I do like the SM on the bottom part of the shirt. The psychumentary "script" shirt... Decent. Just don't expect shading at all. It's strictly white silkscreen, red letters, so it's very low detail when it's not really small on a puter screen.

I'm not knockin' the merch, because I wouldn't spend nearly a hundred dollars (again) if I weren't sure I'd be wearing the shit, but I had the full intention of getting every poster to frame and hang up in my apartment, and I can see that's a bad idea. Thank god I only ordered one to see how it would make it in shipping and how it would look as a whole.

"Crumpled", is a word that comes to mind.

I believe the order was processed on the 13th, so it was very reasonable.

Send them an email bitching about it. Its not like you got the poster for free- you paid for that shit. Make them send you another one free of charge.

I was thinking about ordering one, now I know not to.

Ahhhh.... fuck it man. It's five bucks, and a lesson learned. And for anyone who's curious, the posters are 18" wide by about 25 inches long, so it's not your average sized poster. They're smaller.

That's what happened to the Anghellic poster I had ordered last month along with a shirt, right before the clearance sale... I paid $10 for mine and it arrived lookin like Walter Cronkite's skin.

OK, that's a slight exaggeration, but it wasn't packed safely at all and I wasn't too happy about how it looked.

I bet if you ordered more than one poster, they would have sent the shit in a separate box. I ordered the four album posters and got a separate box a few days later. I thought they fucked me at first though. Because my order came with an MLK shirt which I didn't order, and no posters. So I thought they decided to give me a clearance t-shirt instead of the 20 dollars worth of posters I juts ordered. But like a day later, my posters came in a separate shipment.

So my order and everything went well.

I ordered all four posters, two shirts, and a CD. My shit came in a long triangular tube. It was all fine. The AP and ER posters are hella huge. The other two are the smaller ones. But I don't care about the size. Hell the smaller ones give room for more posters! And all are autographed. No complaints from me! I've never had problems with shipping from Strange. Sorry if I'm bragging.

So we should have to order more shit to make sure that it's not basically just garbage in a box?

I bet if you ordered more than one poster, they would have sent the shit in a separate box.
My first two orders from the store were fine. The items were correct and they arrived rather quickly, but there was never an issue where something fragile like a poster would have gotten crushed. I was under the assumption (and I don't think this was unreasonable) that it would ship in a tube.

I paid 16.40 shipping and handling. I don't see why that couldn't cover a poster tube and a fed ex box.

I'm not usually pissy about little things like this but as you can see by the thread this has been happening to numerous people and basically they're getting 5-10 bucks off of people for something that arrives practially useless. Why spend the time and money to frame a collectors item that's creased and torn? And even more importantly, you're obviously shipping to the type of fan that supports Tech enough to hang posters on his walls in the first place.

I would have been displaying them in my apartment. They're not just going to be push-pinned up and tagged all over next to some notebook doodles from my high school classmates.
