Once upon a time....

There were 3 people that REALLY started FTS....Smoke, J-Dub & D-Sane. When I got out of jail in 1996 we all started working on cuts together....plus they had done a ton of songs to my beats while I was locked up. The group name was actually left up to me....I remember the collect call from King County Jail all too well.....

(D-Sane)...So Smoke, what are we gonna call this group?
(Smoke) I was thinkin' Full Time Soldiers.
(D-Sane) Really?
(Smoke) But we can call it whatever YOU want to call it.
(D-Sane) Well let me think about it.

Later I decided that it would be cool and we ran with it. Damn....I got hella old school cuts sittin' around on 4-track tape (but I don't have the machine anymore to listen to them) where it's just the 3 of us doin' cuts. There was no BD, no Villain, no Drama.....nobody else....just us.

well excuse me "king" d-sane....but i also recall hearing that someone wasn't around when smoke first started writin his shit along with j-dub....i wasn't saying that YOU didn't do anything, OBVIOUSLY you did the MOST.....You act like all I try to do is talk shit to you or have bad shit to say....

btw, you should get the machine so you can listen to it, and then put out burned copies like you did with the 4-track sessions shit...I'm sure plenty of people would buy one, including me...and you know I don't ever pay for cds...lol :)

I hustled the most and made all the big decisions, until D Sane threw me outta the group and stole all my ideas. Whos idea was it to for Independant Kash? Mine. Who made the decision on all the names? Me. Before I met him he was callin himself E Insane. The nerve of that guy..

how come if was byrdies solo that came first outa FTS
lol....if you only knew how long we were working on that album. I mean honestly.....how many cats from FTS would you have been able to stand listening to for a whole solo album? It's not a secret that Madd Dogg & Byrdie were the 2 tightest people in the group.....Byrdie wanted to do a solo so we did it.

Ehmmm, i think j-dubb, Bd And Brazy j were tight to, beside madd dogg and byrdie.

But yeah i think i wouldnt have copt a smoke, drama or yg red solo. But since the f.t.s - money motivated cd, there alwayz stands "smoke dog - g.o.d. e.k.m.o.s." under "coming soon". Whats up whit that, did it take that long to record his solo, or you just didnt releasedt it?? (becuzz you tought it wouldnt sell enuf copys)?
