in the song "this ring" by tech in the begining he says :

From the words of a patriot
"I often fear that the sins in my past
Will come back to haunt me
But the consequenses are more than I can bare"
I feel that shit

but who was the patriot who said that?

Mel Gibson says something similar to that at the beginning of the movie "The Patriot"

Gibson's character says.....

"I have long feared that my sins would return to haunt me, and the cost would be more than I could bear."

It makes a lot of sense if you watch the whole movie....which i didnt do the first few times i saw it.

I doubt strongly that Tech referred to the movie to get that quote. I'm sure in real life an actual patriot once spoke those words before the likes of our hero Mel Gibson... LoL. Who knows.

Dont tell anyone this secret....

But after the Blue Note show Saturday we were at the hotel and I walked past Tech's room, he was in the shower singing...

"When it's over" By Sugar Ray & Lady Marmalade....

I promise this is what I heard, and no I wasn't drinking either...
:wink, wink:

Now, I believe that he watches movies that wouldn't appeal to the average viewer and every movie he watches cant actually be the shit, because his music is, so Nick, you aren't completely off the hook hombre'...... Ha, ha, ha.....

Nerd.......

Just fuckin with yall... Trying to get Tech to post in his defense!

Well generally movies with horses lead to a story about cowboys and Indians, or something just as equally boring. I can't think of a movie I like with a horse in it except for that flick with Bobcat Goldthwait (sp) and the talking horse... Too Hot to Trot I think it was called.
