Who put you on as far as this rap shit? For those that actually do music. Who gave you that chance to be on they album? Gave you that chance to make an album? I know a few of you will say you got yourself on cause you went out and spent the money to make your own shit. I'm speakin about those that was "put on" in a way, and there aint been no lookin back since then.

For me to answer that question. I have to say that Assassin gave me my start as far as actually making real records in a real studio. I had been rappin since 88', doing lil tapes in home studios and shit, but in 1994 I hooked up with Assassin and was given the oppurtunity to rap on the Strictly For the Streets compilation alongside industry cats like South Central Cartel, Rated R from ThugLife, Bloody Mary (from bloods and crips fame), AMW, etc......

I got locked up shortly after we recorded in Pajama Studios out in Oakland. Matter of fact me and the homie Jaz was on that shit bustin, reppin that E408 shit. So Assassin is who I credit for giving me my start professionally in this shit, good lookin out cuzzo. 408ALLDAY.

The homies from Inferno Records put me on my first project even though it has yet to be released. "CALIFORNIA HEAT" was the first real album I recorded for back in January 2001. Come to think of it, I'm pist off that shit never dropped...the name of the song was "WE BE SAV'S", which was myself, Mr. Bomber and Mr. Sillicon...probably one of the tightest songs I did back when I was still a young fucker!! WAIT, that doesn't count then, cause that shit didn't put me anywhere but in the studio with Larry K to do a solo joint!!

Since that never dropped, like Reese, Assassin also gets credit for putting me on the path I wanted to be on from the jump. The first album I've been on which has gained me more recognition than any other project is none other than HITMAN 4 HIRE!! Nobody ever heard of me when Assassin let me rock the OUT OF CUSTODY release party too...and since then shit's been going REALLY well for my team...and there are many things to come from Street Soundz & LiferDef.

@ 211...

So far, I've put my group on (KillahMo & Uncle Jon)...starting with my first solo joint and now connecting them with the big Assassin who is showing them love like he showed me love. Peter Parker of THE SOUND FOUNDATIONZ who first produced WEST COAST LOVE on my solo album, and is moving on to doing production work with Assassin and Playa Rae...I look forward to helping a lot more people, cause I know what it was like being a rapper and gettin' nowhere until somebody stepped up for me!!

My group and I compete with each other...like if KillahMo makes a verse sicker than mine, and I like my shit but I know his is better, I just call him an asshole or something, and tell him to rock that...a lot of the time we throw our shit away until we feel we're on an equal level, LOL...that's no lie!! But yea, they gotta come up too, those fools are family to me...even if they had skills and I barely knew them I would put them on something. I've already arranged for 3 different singers to audition for us @ the studio, and I don't know em...I just know they can blow!! That's how I get down though, I don't want anybody strugglin'...

Look for my group on the FILLMOE 2 SAN JO' joint put out by Assassin & JT
